Who we are

Two Temple Place is wholly owned and run by The Bulldog Trust, a charity registered in the UK with charity number 1123081. Our address is Two Temple Place, London, WC2R 3BD. The Bulldog Trust is a data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).

What we do

Two Temple Place is owned by registered charity, The Bulldog Trust, and is the focus for the Trust’s philanthropic and cultural activities. Two Temple Place runs a cultural programme comprising an annual exhibition (between January – April) and further events throughout the year. Additionally Two Temple Place is available for exclusive hire for filming, weddings, charity fundraising, corporate and private events.

Information we may request from you

This policy explains the personal information collected by us and explains how we use this personal information, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure. Please read it carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

Information we may request directly from you:

– Your contact details (for example, your name, email address, telephone number and delivery address)
– Credit card details or other details required to process a direct debit payment

Payments are processed using a third party platform, Stripe.

Processing your personal data and obtaining your consent

We obtain your consent to process your personal data where we are required to do so by applicable law – for example, where we want to use your contact details for marketing purposes or where the personal data we are collecting from you is “sensitive” and we are not lawfully permitted to process your personal data on any other legal grounds. Where we rely on your consent for processing your personal data, you may withdraw your consent to this processing at any time, by contacting us by email at info@twotempleplace.org. Please note, however, that withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent you gave prior to withdrawal.

Where we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, we will log any objection you make, stop processing your data for direct marketing purposes, and we will not contact you again.

There may be instances where we process your personal data for our legitimate interests or on the basis of other lawful grounds (i.e., because we have established a relationship with you and need to process your personal data in order to provide you with the information and/or services you have requested), without having obtained your consent. We do not seek your consent in such cases largely so that we can provide you with services in an efficient way (or where in some cases it might not be possible for us to seek your consent because we must process personal data, for example, for the detection of fraud). Before processing your personal data, we will consider your rights and freedoms and will only commence such processing where we do not think your rights will be infringed.

Storage of your information

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers at Two Temple Place, London, WC2R 3BD, and 11-21 Paul Street, London EC2A 4JU. We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against loss, misuse or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of your personal information in accordance with local legislation where applicable.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us via our website or by email; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.

Period for which we store your personal data

We only store your personal data for as long as we require it in order to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or provided to us (unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it for longer).

Transfers of your information

Social media sites

We operate a number of social media pages (Facebook and Instagram). Although this policy covers how we will use any data collected from those pages it does not cover how the providers of social media websites will use your information. Please ensure you read the privacy policy of the social media website before sharing data and make use of the privacy settings and reporting mechanisms to control how your data is used.

Data we receive from third parties

As described above, we use third parties to help us provide our services. In some cases, you will be directed to a third party online platform where your personal data will be collected on our behalf and provided to us. In this case, the third party provider will subsequently transfer to us the personal data you provide. This data will only be stored for as long as we require it, and will be handled in accordance with data protection laws and in compliance with the principles set out in this policy.

Your rights
